These Terms govern your use of Ownway Stories, operated by Atelier Atode LLC(“we”, “us”). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

What we provide

We create personalized, printed children’s picture books. Each book is generated and personalized for your order based on the information you provide — your child’s first name, the chosen challenge and character, and any dedication.

Nature of the content — please read

Ownway Stories books are supportive, age-appropriate stories for children and include general guidance for parents. They are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, educational, or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Every child is different: you are responsible for reviewing each book and deciding whether it is appropriate for your child. The content is provided on an “as is” basis.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax and shipping are calculated at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. Because each book is made to order and personalized, please review your details — especially the spelling of names — before paying.

Shipping, delivery, and returns

Where we ship. We currently ship within the United States only.

Delivery. Every book is printed on demand. You choose a shipping speed at checkout, where the estimated delivery window is shown; standard orders typically arrive within about 7–10 business days. These are estimates, not guarantees, and can vary with carrier conditions.

Returns. Because each book is custom-made with your child’s name and choices, all sales are final and books cannot be returned or exchanged once production has started. Please double-check your details before paying.

Defects and damage. If your order arrives damaged or defective, email us at hello [at] ownwaystories.com within 14 days of delivery with a photo, and we will work with you to resolve it.

Cancellations. Contact us as soon as possible — we can only cancel an order before it enters production; once printing has begun we are unable to stop it.

Your book and intellectual property

You receive your personalized book for your personal, non-commercial use. The Ownway Stories platform, artwork style, characters, templates, and underlying technology remain our property. You confirm that you have the right to use any name or dedication you submit.

Acceptable use

Please do not use the service to submit unlawful, infringing, or offensive content, or to interfere with the operation of the site.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and the books are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Atelier Atode LLC for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atelier Atode LLC from claims arising out of content you submit or your misuse of the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version; continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.
